Ourland Villages

Three villages.
Three ways to meet rural China.

Waterways on Shanghai’s edge, a courtyard on Chongming, and a stone village in the Taihang Mountains. Discover the settings that shape life at Ourland.

Fields and houses in Zhangma Village

Living places

A village is more
than a view.

People live, work, cook and create here. Ourland works with the character of each place, bringing shared spaces and new interests into existing village life.

These villages are far apart and have different rhythms. This is an introduction to our places, not a promise that a 7-day visit includes all three. We will discuss the setting and arrangements with you as the programme takes shape.
